A neutralizing agent or basifying agent with complexing agents. It will not over-neutralize unless extreme amounts are used. It gives softer leather with more stretch, better fixation of mineral tanning agents, and a more even and complete take-up of tanning agents. Recommended use is after pickle bath and/or complete take-up of tanning bath.
